OGUN NIPR MOURNS LATE GM OF OGBC

The Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Mr. Lekan Togunwa has described the death of the General Manager of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) as a big loss to journalism practice in Nigeria.

While reacting to the sudden death of the Late veteran journalist and thoroughbred professional, Togunwa noted that his death has created a lacuna in journalism practice in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Chairman  of the image making body commiserated with his family, professional colleagues and the entire OGBC and OGTV families at large.

"The death of Mr. Akinhanmi came so sudden and caught all of us unawares, but what can we do than to take solace in God that the deceased is resting in the bosom of his maker. During his tenure as the GM of OGBC, Akinhanmi brought tremendous transformation to the station and particularly complemented the activities of the NIPR in the State, for which he would be sorely missed.
We, therefore,  pray God grants him eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss", he added.
