OGHA HOLDS PUBLIC HEARING ON SAFETY COMMISSION, ENERGY BOARD BILLS ON WEDNESDAY




In its bid to ensure the passage of enabling legislation meant to create conducive business environment to boost existing and prospective investments through uniform safety guidelines and provision of regular power supply, the Ogun State House of Assembly will on Wednesday, 25th November, 2020, hold a Stakeholders’ forum on the State Safety Commission Law, 2020 and State Energy Board Law, 2020.

A release signed by the Clerk of the Assembly and Head of Legislative Services, Mr. Deji Adeyemo, explained that the forum would serve as an avenue to harness ideas and contributions of all relevant stakeholders with a view to enacting the required legal frameworks for the proper coordination of safety regulations and regular energy supply towards achieving seamless access to electricity, especially in the rural areas.    

The Forum according to the release, would take place at the State House of Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta at 10:00am prompt, while all the Stakeholders are enjoined to be seated by 9.30 am.
