AMOSUN CHARGES MAJO NOBLE CLUB INDUCTEES ON COMMITMENT



The Amona Oba of Ayetoro-Yewa and Patron of Majo Noble Club of Ayetoro (MANCA), Ogun State, Elder Kunle Amosun has charged the Club's new inductees and distinguished personalities decorated as Advisers to be committed and dedicated to the vision and mission of the  socio-cultural and developmental Club.

Elder Amosun gave the charge during the club's End of the Year family Program held at Adigbe, Abeokuta where Alhaji Abdulazeez Adebayo, Mr. Olalekan Eniolawun, Mr. Julius Adeyemi and Barrister Olalekan Akintola were inducted into the club while a former Ogun State Head of Service, Elder Olusola Adeyemi and a distinguished administrator in the private sector, Elder Israel Adeogun were decorated as advisers of the club.

 Elder Amosun stated that their dedication and commitment would enable them effectively contribute to the actualisation of the club's objectives as well as impact lives through the implementation of various beneficial projects.

He noted that the club's implementation of more  projects would further enhance the development of Ayetoro-Yewa and its environs charging the inductees and the advisers to see their induction and appointment as an opportunity to serve humanity in a selfless manner.

Also speaking, the Club President, Manca Olubola Olakunle Aikulola said the members unanimously bestowed the honour of Advisers on Elders Adeyemi and Adeogun for being selfless pillars of support to the development of people and the growth of Ayetoro calling on others to emulate their virtues.

Aikulola who is also the Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment said between 2019 and 2020 the club organised different community projects which includes career counseling programs, free health screening and treatment, different artisan empowerment adding that his tenure grew the Club's bank balance by 500 percent exceeding its 300 percent target while also recording 27 percent membership growth.

 He added that as part of efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic the club presented various hand washing  tools, hand sanitisers and nose masks to the Palace of Alaye of Ayetoro while palliatives were given to members impacted by the pandemic as well as the aged and  vulnerable in the twelve quarters in Ayetoro and Igan Okoto to cushion the effect of the pandemic on the people.

On the State of the Club House, the President said the project has been given a tremendous lift with the installation of Plaster of Paris (POP) ceiling, aluminum windows and burglary proofs enabling the club to hold its meetings in the building.

Also honoured by the club are the best female candidate and second overall best candidate in the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) November 2019 diet, Miss Yemisi Adewusi, former Manca President, Dr. Morakinyo Oloyede, Manca Pillar Oluremi Salako, Manca Adetoun Fatoogun, Manca Star Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Itunu Faremi and Manca Fatogun Semiu Oladimeji .

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Elder Israel Adeogun while assuring of their continued support lauded MANCA for its positive impact in the development of Ayetoro stressing that no other Club has done more for the development of the town.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of Manca Abiodun Faremi as the next Manca President. His tenure runs between 2021 and 2022.
