The Ogun State Parks and Garages Development Board has announced the revocation of all recent contracts , negotiations , understanding, agreements , Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed or executed by the Ogun State Parks and Garages Development Agency (PAGADA) with any agents ,agencies on the collections of revenue on trucks and other heavy duty vehicles operating in parks ,garages or tolls in the state.
The decision of the Board which was contained in a statement made available to newsmen signed by its Chairman, Honourable Wale Habeeb Ajayi follows a resolution endorsed by members of the Board including it's local government representative.
The PAGADEB Board also restrain the General Manager of the agency from entering into any agreement, Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) contracts or negotiations with any ministry , agency , companies , or agents without the written consent and approval of the board.
The Board observed with consternation that the General Manager who is also the Secretary of the Board has not been attending Board meetings nor effecting Board Resolutions,demanding that such attitude should henceforth be stopped while advising the General Manager to henceforth learn to live up to his Billings in the Agency .
The resolution also made it known that the Board shall immediately embark on visitation to all parks and Garages in Ogun to ensure strict compliance with Covid-19 protocols as directed by His Excellency ,Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, while it has resolved to urgently hold meetings and interactions with the security agencies on the security situation in all the parks and Garages in Ogun State.
The resolution which copied the Chairman House of Assembly Committee on Transportation in the Ogun State House of Assembly stated unequivocally that the Agency is an autonomous body by the law establishing it and it's Board shall be guided in it's functions , responsibilities and power as provided for in the law.

At the Board Meeting of the Ogun State Parks and Garages Development Agency held on Thursday 11 th February 2021 the Board resolved as follows :
1. That the General Manager should not enter into any agreement / Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) contracts negotiation (s) of directions (s) with any Ministry , Agency , Companies , forms agents (s) persons (s) and or entities whatsoever without the written consent and approval of the board .
2. The Board shall immediately embark on visitation to all parks and Garages in Ogun to ensure strict compliance with Covid-19 protocols as directed by His Excellency ,Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR ,Governor of Ogun State.
3. That all recent contracts , negotiations , understanding, agreements , Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed or executed by the Ogun State Parks and Garages Development Agency (PAGADA) with anyagents ,agencies ,entities ,companies , persons and or organisations on the collection of revenue on trucks and other heavy vehicles operating in any parks ,garages or tolls in Ogun State is hereby revoked..
4. That the Ogun State Parks and Garages Development Agency (PAGADA) law has clearly taken care of the interest of all local government in Ogun State in it's Operations through adequate representation of the local government council in Board of the Ogun State Parks and Garages Development Agency (PAGADA).
5. That the Board should urgently hold meetings and interactions with the security agencies on the security situation in all the parks and Garages in Ogun State.
6.The Board observed that the General Manager who is also the Secretary of the Board has not been attending Board meetings nor effecting Board Resolutions and such attitude should henceforth be stopped while the General Manager is enjoined to live up to his Billings in the Agency .
7. The Agency is an autonomous body by the law establishing the Agency and the Agency and it's Board shall be guided in it's functions , responsibilities and power as provided for in the law.
