The major challenge of gender-based violence is the inability of the victims to speak out.
The Church will therefore not relent in letting such victims find their voices.
The wife of the General Overseer of Victory life Bible Church, Reverend Fola Achudume gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta.
Reverend Achudume observed that many victims of gender-based abuses, especially in marriage refused to bring their issues to the limelight because of stigmatisation and the likes, noting that the church is doing its best to mend broken fences in marriages.
She said " the Church is doing what it can do through preaching, counselling, training, among others to ensure the home is what God want it to be".
The Spouse of the VLBC Setman equally encouraged Christians' participation in politics, describing the political world as a difficult terrain.
As she said "we cannot stay back and want change, hence we should join to effect the change".
Reverend Achudume however charged political office holders not to close their eyes to their faith which is their foundation as they will be answerable to the people and God.
