The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), will commence screening of Councillorship candidates for all Political Parties participating in the forthcoming Local Government elections in the State.
According to a release signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Babatunde Osibodu, the exercise will commence with Councillorship candidates in the Ogun Central Senatorial District on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 by 10 in the morning, while those of Ogun East holds on Thursday, June 10, 2021 and Ogun West Senatorial District is scheduled for Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10 in the morning.
The release added that the screening exercise will hold at the Commission’s Headquarters beside Bureau of Lands and Survey, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, enjoining all Political Parties participating in the election to present their Councillorship candidates for the screening
