OGWAMA Chairman calls out Barr.Yinka Kotoye over comments on ex Gov.Osoba

My attention has been drawn by several notable persons, in political realm, legal profession and my family members to a libelous comment made by Yinka Kotoye, Esq. on Penpushing Platform in response to my write up on the 82nd Birthday Anniversary of Chief Olusegun Osoba in the said platform.

Ordinarily, I do not intend to respond to the said demeaning statement and character assassination made by the learned person because he was my junior at the faculty of Law, University of Ibadan and at the Nigerian Bar.

But  it is important to set the record straight now as Chief Olusegun Osoba is still alive and Almighty God will continue to protect his life and bestow sound health unto him to live long.

As at 1991 I was the President of the Abeokuta Student Union, UI Chapter, and by the time I graduated from the University of Ibadan I have not had contact or met with Chief Olusegun Osoba.
For the information of Yinka Kotoye, Esq. I met Chief Olusegun Osoba in the year 2002, when I was already a member of NEC, of Nigerian Bar Association under the leadership of Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN. I was already a Private Legal Practitioner at the time I met the Akinrogun of Egbaland who was the Governor of Ogun State then.

If actually you read and digested my write up on Chief Olusegun Osoba, the Aremo of Ijebuland,  at 82 with good conscience, I stated therein which I will quote here for emphasis sake "personally, my regret is knowing him at advanced age. He has influenced my life politically and in Legal career...". At the time I was at University of Ibadan I never established any contact or relationship with the Sage.

Dear Learned friend, Yinka Kotoye, Esq. without mincing words I know you know the level of damage you have done to my dignity, personality and integrity before reasonable person and my family members.

My demand: Yinka Kotoye, Esq, you are to make a recant of the unfounded allegation contained in your comment on three daily newspaper with an affidavit to debunk same within 7days of this notice
TAKE NOTICE, that failure to recant the comment shall lead to initiation of necessary legal process.

Thank you.

Hon. Adekunle Adeyemi.
