IS NIGERIA AN EXPERIMENT OF STUPIDITY IN GOVERNANCE? BY DR.GBENGA ADEOYE.

Today, I was with a friend who happens to be a car dealer and was making reference to the Interview of the  Chairman and Founder of Innoson Motors .

According to the Nnewi Born Business man, Nigeria ought to have a policy that made in Nigeria cars should be used at all our embassies all over the World so as to indirectly showcase made in Nigeria stuffs to the world.

He made reference to US embassies all over the world, using Ford, German Embassies using BMW.

Adding that  Donald Duke's Statement that we are stupid to allow gas flaring for 30 years.

Donald Duke said further that Kano was second to Lagos in terms of Economy in the past but now Kano is dead economically because of energy and some other factors.

He said further that we should pipe gas to everywhere in Nigeria and allow Factories to tap into it and get Power if possible free or discounted for all factories.

He also wonder if we wanted jobs to be created with 30% interest rate.?

I agree with their views and more importantly it  makes me sadly amazed  to hear in various media that certain persons in leadership are happy about insecurity in Nigeria and in fact some people are either making money from it or having some sorts of agenda....I couldn't fathom all of these...

How can we deliberately continue in wrong doing and expect that good will come to our country.? Impossible.!!!.

Youths also resorted to cyber crimes and ritual killings as a result of no job.No serious efforts about change of national orientation .We are so divided and Unity  seems to be a thing of the past.

Politicians see nothing wrong in buying weapons to achieve their aim of winning election....Ideology does not lead to victory  at polls anymore.

Everybody just do some sorts of stupid things.Even when instructions are given under written policies...Violation is more regular than compliance.Tinted Permit...issue...Customs in locations beyond 49 kilometres to the border as provided...Somebody just want to do something to another person such that every recipient of such actions feels sad to live in Nigeria...When would this experiment come to an end?

The one that baffles me is that you find port holes in places where ministers, governors and commissioners and law makers drive through everyday.

Does it mean they do not see it? Or they like it that way or what? Most Schools have no toilets and proper laboratories. Are they happy about it or what?

The few brilliant guys that really want things done the right way are scared away or caged financially because it is even costly to bring yourself forward to serve.

Those within have also lost their minds and you wonder how a one time brilliant persons now talks like illiterate saying things that does not make sense like he or she used to say in the past....What is happening to us?

No wonder Countries makes reference to us when talking about stupidity in Governance.

Conclusion :Let us ask the question again.

IS NIGERIA AN EXPERIMENT OF STUPIDITY IN GOVERNANCE.?

May it not become a Thanksgiving prayer by citizens of  other countries to say...Lord thank you and am glad am not a Nigerian and I do not  live in Nigeria.God Forbid.Amen..Amen..& Amen.
