David Balogun Foundation Pays WAEC  Fees of Another Two indigent Students At Reverend Kuti,Memorial Grammar School, Abeokuta

....Donates cash to support JAMB form purchase to other students.

In yet another move to consolidate on its  resolve to assist brilliant  indigent students  get a better start in life, the David Balogun Foundation has again presented cash sum for registration  of the West African Examination  Counci
(WASSCE) fees for two indigent  brilliant students of Reverend Kuti Memorial Grammar  School, Isabo Abeokuta.







The two beneficiaries, Sobande Morenikeji and Ogungbesan Timilehin who are current Senior Secondary School Three  students of the school as customary received the donation  in the presence of the school  Principal,  Mr. Olaniyi Gabriel Olutayo, the Vice Principal Mrs. Babalola Olufunmilayo Abosede and the School Registrar, Mr. Lawal Ajibola Sabur .

The presentation was made on Wednesday 9th February 2021 by the Secretary of the Foundation ,Mrs. Ogunsiji Ayodele on behalf of the founder of DAVID BALOGUN FOUNDATION,an old student of the school Mr.  David Adeolu  Balogun. 

The team also had in attendance two strong members of the Foundation, Pastor Peter Adewunmi, who is the  Chief Administrative  Officer and Mr. Waheed  Ogunjobi,Media Consultant  to the Foundation.

It was an emotion laddened session when the Principal,Mr Olaniyi Gabriel Olutayo enjoined members of the Foundation to give the beneficiary students words of advice as some of the Foundation members related touching stories of their growing up years, noting that the promoter of the Foundation, Mr  David Adeolu  Balogun himself  who is an Ogun State indigene  based in the United States  of America  is not a money bag or aspiring politician,but  a man who is out to assist the  less privileged in the society. 










The Principal had earlier enjoined the beneficiary students to make good use of the opportunity and have the mind to reciprocate such gesture to others in future, when they hit their goldmine.

Mrs Ogunsiji in a remark said the presentation was made on behalf of the founder ,Mr. David Adeolu Balogun who is passionate about giving back to his Alma mata and putting smiles on the faces of indigent brilliant students who are unable to make up with the payment for their terminal examinations.

She said "We are  here on behalf of an old student of this school by name Mr. David Adeolu Balogun who is passionate about giving back to his Alma mata and putting smiles on the faces of indigent brilliant students" 

"His desire is to pay the WASSCE fees of  two students as decided by the school. This is in continuation of the good gesture he had started long ago and has continued to build upon. 

Recall that tthe David Balogun Foundation also around the same.e period  last year, precisely on February, 26 th  made the payment of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination fees of two indigent students of Rev. Kuti  Memorial Grammar  School, Abeokuta.

The  beneficiary students then were Oyadeyi Taiwo and Olufunso Samod both in Senior Secondary  School Three.

The foundation also at Nawairuldeen High School, Isabo Abeokuta presented cash sum to two indigent brilliant students of the school school, namely, Apata Marvellous and Aminu Opeyemi in the presence of the school Princiapal, to cater for their JAMB  registration.

In the same vein, the cash sum for the payment of JAMB form was presented to Master Taiwo Ibrahim and Miss Adeyemi Racheal of Egba Comprehensive High School, Asero Abeokuta 

The beneficiary students according to the school authorities have already made their WASSCE  and looking forward to gain admission to the University.

The presentation was made in the presence of Acting Principal, Egba High School, Senior School,Mrs Folabomi Dawodu Falola who is a Vice Principal  in the school, Principal Junior School, Mrs. Yomi Adeneye, another Vice Principal and an old student who is also a teacher in the School, Mr. Ogunbayo Ayopo.

The Foundation  which also has a mandate to put smiles on the faces of less privileged  people in the society through donation and distribution of food items,  on the eve of Christmas  last year fetes some less privileged  individuals in the state in order to make them benefits from the  merriments of the season.
