SELFLESS SERVICE DESERVES HONOUR, MAPOLY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TELL ITS FIRST NATIONAL PRESIDEN, ANTHONY ADENIJI.

It is the word of God as encapsulated in the Bible that established the fact that, the reward of a diligent leader is honour.
"Seest thou a man diligent in his business?he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men" (Proverb 22:29).
This  has come come to pass  in the life of Pastor Anthony Adeniji a London based Pastor as he will be standing and remain standing as they usually say in academic parlance this Saturday in recognition of his leadership roles.

Anthony Adeniji will not be standing before just ordinary people, but before the creame la de creame of the society, the movers and shakers of the country, the technocrats, business moguls, accomplished media practitioners, top Government functionaries and scholars within and from without Nigeria.

The prestigious Moshood Abiola Polytechnic formerly Ogun State Polytechnic  which was established in 1989 is not just a tertiary institution but first among it pairs.
The products of the institution like Pastor Anthony Adeniji have continued to dominate the public space not only nationally but internationally.
Pastor Adeniji, first Alumni helmsman graduated from Department of Accountancy at Ogun State Polytechnic now MAPOLY in 1987 while in the service of NTA Abeokuta.
He was the 1st Alumni President from 1989 to June 1992 before relocating the United kingdom.
Under his leadership, Pastor Adeniji laid a solid foundation for the  Association. It was his tenure that helped the institution to attract necessary accreditation  of courses by the National Board of Technical Education. His Executive was able to initiate a meeting with the Chairman of the then Board  of NBTE, Dr. Adamu Yabani for intervention which yielded positive results.

Another giant strides recorded by the first Executive of the Association was the constant interaction  with the then State Governor Navy Captain Mohammed Lawal of blessed memory which facilitated many projects to the Polytechnic.

The Adeniji led Alumni Executive provided the platform for direct consultation with the Management which went a long way to the success of the Association.

To keep the then young Alumni Association financially stable the Adeniji led Executive introduced Alumni levy as a take off grant for the Alumni Association. The spirit of unity and sense of belonging were promoted among the Alumnus in order to continue to remember the  Polytechnic after the graduation of students from that institution.
These and many more giant strides were considered by the current Executive of MAPOLY Alumni Association in bestowing Distinguished Leadership Award on the pioneering President.
Pastor Anthony Adeniji is currently The Senior Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church( Alithia Centre) London. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of NTA Abeokuta and Foursquare Gospel Church Plaistow London.
