NASFAT endows Crescent Varsity best graduating student prize By Idris Katib

 


Nasrullahil Fatih Society (NASFAT) has announced its endowment of the best graduating student prize at Crescent University, Abeokuta to the tune of Five Hundred Thousand Naira, starting from 2023 convocation.

The news was broken by the National Secretary of the Association, Alhaji Da'ood Sunmonu during the grand finale of a 4-day programme tagged "Train-the-Trainers" for over two hundred and fifty of its members held at the Bola Ajibola Auditorium of Crescent University, Abeokuta.

Representing the National President of NASFAT, Mr Niyi Yusuf, Da'ood said it was " a delight that this programme has to take place here at Crescent University ".



He said NASFAT had a tradition of leaving what he referred to as " our indelible mark wherever we go".

In his appreciation and acceptance speech, the Registrar, Crescent University Abeokuta, Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola said "the Proprietor, His Excellency Judge Bola Ajibola would have been moved to tears if he was here to witness this event

"The history of Crescent University started with the collaboration with NASFAT many years back", the Registrar unveiled.

Expressing his gratitude on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, management and students of Crescent University, the Registrar added that the  magnificent endowment would in no small measure add to the progress of Crescent University.




In a related development, a plaque was also presented by NASFAT to Crescent University Registrar in recognition of the long-term partnership between the two organisations.
