If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Isaiah 1:19-20 KJV

Most often than not, we act as  if God is demanding too much from us. What does God really  require of us ?

The scripture says: “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land ..

Chronicles 7:14 ESV

God wants us to act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."God's requirement is that His people do what is right in relationship with Him and in their relationships with one another. As they are motivated by love, their actions will be tempered by justice, mercy, and humility.

What are the 4 wills of God in the Bible?

Emerson Eggerichs, author of The 4 Wills of God, explains the key is to follow the Lord's universally-revealed four wills, as summarized by the acronym "BAGS."

-Believe in Jesus Christ.
Abstain from sexual sin.

-Give thanks in everything.

-Submit and do what's right..

What does Jesus Christ wants from His Followers?

Be willing to obey and submit.

Christ's followers trustfully obey and submit to his will by faith, even when it exceeds understanding. “Jesus answered him, 'If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him'” (John 14:23).

What are the main things God asks us to do?

Believe in Jesus. ...

Put living for Jesus first in your life. ...

Read the Bible. ...

Become involved in a local Bible-believing church and seek friendships with Christ-followers. ...

Forgive others. ...

Live your life with thankfulness, not complaining. ...

Pray all the time. ...

Love others.

What are the ten Commandments, given to Moses?

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” ...

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.” ...

3.Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.” ...

4.Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” ...

5.Honour thy father and thy mother.” ...

“6. Thou shalt not kill.” ...

What are the benefits of Hearkening to God'  Words?

Deuteronomy 28:1-14

New International Version

Blessings for Obedience

28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:

3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. 11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
