The mother of a Fourteen year old girl, Afuape Jumoke has cried out to well- meaning Nigerians to come to her aid in the case of her daughter Soetan Deborah Omobolawa who was diagnosed of a curved spine known in medical parlance as idiopathic Scoliosis.
The abnormal formation of the spine which is almost swolen to her heart has become life threatening as medical experts said unless an urgent surgery is carried out, the girl will soon begin to have difficulties in breathing and may be choked to death.
As a result of this precarious situation, Deborah needs N20 million naira by first week in August to do the correctional surgery.
The mother , a single parent, Afuape Jumoke said her daughter had been living with this unusual condition for several years and she had made attempt to cover it up , hoping it would just go away through divine touch, with many people even mistaken her for a hunchback , but when the case is getting out of hand, she decided to cry out for help.
