To vouch on a person simply means to trust in that person 100% that he can do this or not.
Before you can do that,it means you have studied the person very well and knows what he is capable of doing without him or her disappointing you.
There are few people in the Bible I would say God vouched for and I will be talking about them.
Let's Go !
David:
1. "‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do’” (Acts 13:22)
What made David exceptional before God ?
David prays with thanksgiving in an expectation for how God will act (Ps. 52:5–9).
He gives thanks in advance for what God is doing and will do.
He's confident that because God loves him, is for him, has good plans for him, and is at work in his life, God will provide, protect, and deliver him.
King David was special to God because of his sincere and repentant heart. Despite his imperfections and failures, David always sought forgiveness and had unwavering faith. He valued a deep and personal relationship with God, which was reflected in his Psalms and his commitment to God’s will. God recognized David’s humility, devotion, and readiness to fulfill His purpose, ultimately choosing him as the ancestor of Jesus, the Messiah, illustrating God’s ability to use imperfect indivi
*i t wasn’t about being flawless, but rather about the sincerity of his heart and his readiness to seek forgiveness when he made mistakes"*
David’s musical and poetic abilities played a significant role in his relationship with God. Through his Psalms, he expressed his adoration, gratitude, and even his anguish before God.
These heartfelt expressions of worship connected deeply with people then and continue to do so today.
*The Life of Abrahams*
We are all fond of singing this song..Abrahams blessings are mine, 2ce
I am blessed in the morning I am blessed in the evening, Abrahams blessings are mine...
We are also familiar with the verse where God told Abraham, I will bless those who bless you, and I will cause those who cause you. Have we stopped to ask why God loves Abrahams so much ; why he tool so much interest in his case...
," I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” — God, Genesis 12:3, KJV. This verse is one of the most searched online dealing with God's promise to Abraham.
2. "For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him".
Genesis 18:19 King James Version (KJV)
Abraham was a friend of God and lover of Him. You know what it meant to be a friend of God. Do you remember what transpired between Abraham and God when God was to destroy Soddom and Gomorrah?
...The relationship was so deep that God find it difficult to hide his plans from his faithful servant- Abraham...
The Bible recorded it tgat : His ways are of the Lord and he trusted God so much,,,he served God all the days of his life and with this,,,God made him father of many nations,,,
God was rest assured that He knows Abraham will train his children the ways of the Lord and God knew he can do that. God has seen Abraham and have known what he can do that was why He was able to say that Abraham will train his children in the way of the Lord.
What made Abraham special before God ?
Abraham was a man who heard God's voice and simply obeyed. Abraham believed in what God spoke. He was convinced, based on God's character and nature, that if God promised something, God had the ability and the desire to bring it to pass. Abraham gave himself to God's eternal purposes.
Remember when he was told to leave his dwelling and his supposed place of comfort, he simply obeyed.
Genesis 12:1, the Lord commands Abram to leave his country, kindred, and his father's house, to the land that the Lord will show him. Thus, v. 1 emphasizes in great detail what Abram must leave behind in order to obtain the promises that
What are the qualities of Abraham?
Abraham is pictured with various characteristics:
1. A righteous man, with wholehearted commitment to God;
2. A man of peace (in settling a boundary dispute with his nephew Lot),
3. Compassionate (he argues and bargains with God to spare the people of Sodom and Gomorrah)
Genesis 18 : 16-33 Brah
Abraham intercedes for Sodom and Gomorrah..
4. Hospitable (he welcomes three visiting angels)
*The Life of Job*
3. Then the Lord said to the Adversary, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” (Job 1:8).
Job declares, “Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him.”
Job 13 -15..
This faith-filled statement has challenged countless believers through the centuries to strive for a similar trust in the Lord in the face of trials.
Job made this statement when he was in a terrible time of pain and suffering. He had lost all of his children, his wealth, and his health. His friends were of no help. His wife offered no support and was in fact telling him to give up (Job 2:9). Job felt as though his life was over. The only thing left was to die. But, as Job says, even if God did “slay” him, Job would still trust in Him.
Of note here is the fact that Job realizes that, ultimately, the suffering he endures is allowed by God. It is God who has the right and the power to “slay” Job. Even in the midst of his pain, Job knows that “the LORD brings death and makes alive; / he brings down to the grave and raises up” (1 Samuel 2:6). The Lord alone holds the “keys of death” (Revelation 1:18).
The faith of Job is seen in the fact that even if God’s plan results in Job’s death, Job will continue to trust in God. Nothing can shake the faith of someone so grounded in the goodness and glory of God. Job may not understand what is happening to him and why, but he knows that God is good, loving, and trustworthy.
Another person in the Bible was Job,,oh I love this man. Job was also a friend of God,,no one cannot just be a friend of God without knowing Him,,you need to live a holy life and serve God all your life before you can be qualified to be His friend. He has many properties and was so rich that Satan became jealous of him. Then oneday Satan was going around the earth when God saw him and asked
God actually was proud of Job and vouched for him in the presence of Satan,,God has already checked Job and knew about him, that was why He quickly showed him off to Satan. Satan thought it was because of the wealth and riches God gave to him that made him love God to that extent but when test was put to him,all his wealth and children went the same day but still he served God the more and God was so happy with this. Even he never listened to his wife when she told him to curse God and die,,,but what did God did? He restore to Him all what he has lost.
Can God vouch for you? Can He trust you? These are questions you need to ask yourself, even if God vouch for you,can you stand the test and never disappoint Him? Before God can vouch for you, holiness must be found in you.
