The Ogunjobi family has announced the death of Chief Bisiriyu Afolabi Ogunjobi of NO. 1 Afolabi Ogunjobi Street obantoko, Abeokuta opposite O.L.G primary school.
Chief Ogunjobi who was born on 28th Nov. 1940 died on Sunday, 2nd June 2024 aged 83.
In a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday by the eldest son, Mr Tunde Ogunjobi, the family announced the passing of their father, husband, Uncle and Grandfather.
Chief Afolabi Ogunjobi until his death was a Chartered Secretary/ Accountant and Arbitrator. He was the Okanlomo of ijemoland and was a devoted Christian.
He is Uncle to Mr. Waheed Ogunjobi of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation and the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Ogun State Chapter.
Details regarding the burial arrangements are yet to be disclosed, with Mr Tunde Ogunjobi stating that the family will provide further information to the public in due course.
