ECHSOSA United ‘94 Set Empowers Teachers with Donation of Furniture.

In a targeted move to support the backbone of the education system—the United ‘94 set of the Egba Comprehensive High School Old Student Association (ECHSOSA) today officially donated a suite of twenty high-quality tables and chairs for staff use. The handover ceremony, held at the school, was a vibrant affair filled with a sense of gratitude and renewed commitment to educational excellence.

The donation shifts the focus from student infrastructure to teacher welfare, acknowledging the critical role teachers play in shaping futures. The new furniture is set to revitalize the teachers' staff room or individual offices, providing teachers with a more comfortable and professional workspace to prepare lessons and grade assignments.

The event was attended by key figures from the old student association and the school administration, underscoring the collaborative spirit between ECHS and its graduates. Distinguished guests in attendance included:

In his opening address, the Principal of the senior school Mr. Akinlotan welcomed the alumni and expressed deep appreciation for the thoughtful donation. “For years, our teachers have worked with outdated and often broken furniture. This generous gift from the United ‘94 set is a direct investment in their comfort and well-being. A valued teacher is a motivated teacher, and motivated teachers produce excellent students.
