The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta Muslim Alumni (MAPAMA) is set to host its 2025 National Convention.
This is contained in a press statement issued on Friday by the Media, Mobilization, Publicity and Publication Committee of the upcoming exercise.
Senator representing Ogun Central, Shuaib Afolabi Salis; Chairman of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG), Alhaji Niyi Yusuf; frontline business and financial expert, Dr. Ahmed 'Tunde Popoola; MAPOLY Rector, Arc. Dr. Babatunde Adekoyejo Jolaoso; and former MAPOLY Rector and Chairman of MAPAMA BoT, Tpl. Waheed Kadiri, among others, are expected to be part of the grand session on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
The statement, signed by Sulaimon Fasasi on behalf of the MMPPC Chairman, Tajudeen Balogun, indicated that the event is scheduled to hold between Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16, 2025 (Jumadal Al-Awwal 25–26, 1447 AH) at the Responsible Leaders Hotel, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.
With the theme: “Entrepreneurship in Action: Building Ethical Enterprises in Uncertain Times,” the Convention will host prominent professionals, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to deliberate on the values and sustainability of ethical enterprise in today’s challenging business environment.
The grand event, which is expected to commence at 11:00 a.m., will be chaired by Dr. Popoola, Managing Director of CRC Credit Bureau Limited, Lagos.
While a lecture on the theme will be delivered by Alhaji Yusuf, Senator Salis will give the keynote speech.
The Convention aims to strengthen alumni bonds, promote intellectual exchange, and inspire discussions on value-based leadership and innovation-driven growth.
More than a reunion, the gathering seeks to redefine MAPAMA’s collective contribution to society through integrity, innovation, and enterprise.
The event is open to relevant stakeholders, sister organizations, and the general public, and promises to be resourceful, engaging, and impactful.
