OGUN NIPR CONGRATULATES OLANREWAJU SAKA ON APPOINTMENT AS HEAD OF SERVICE

Abeokuta— The Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated Mr. Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka on his appointment as the new Head of Service of Ogun State by Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON.

In a statement signed by the State Chairman, Mrs. Oluwaseun Boye, the Institute described Saka’s elevation as “well-deserved” and “a testament to a distinguished career” that began as a Classroom Teacher on Grade Level 08 in 1993 before his transfer to the mainstream civil service in 2006.

The  Ogun NIPR praised Saka as a seasoned professional and administrator with vast experience in policy coordination and implementation strategies.
It also highlighted his membership of professional bodies, including the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team,"the chapter said  while expressing confidence that Saka’s leadership would bring renewed professionalism and citizen-focused service delivery to the Ogun State Public Service.

As public relations practitioners, the Institute noted that effective governance depends on transparent communication and stakeholder trust.

"Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge," the statement added.

The chapter commended Governor Abiodun for the appointment, aligning with the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, who said the choice was based on Saka’s “hard work, dedication, commitment to duty, and outstanding service.”

Ogun NIPR assured the new Head of Service of its support and partnership in advancing the reputation and image of the State Public Service, while wishing him a successful and impactful tenure.
