The Erelu Auditorium of the Bola Ajibola College of Law played host to the Spirit of the Competition Award winners who represented Crescent University, Abeokuta at the just concluded International Bar Association-International Criminal Court Moot Competition in Hague, Netherlands.
The winners from Crescent University are: Justus Adeyemi, Hadiqah Orisadare, Muhammedgazaal Abudu, Fareedah Akinsola and Karamat Lawal chaperoned by Dr Mujeeb Imran.
The university leadership showered emcomiums on Team Crescent for doing the institution proud on a global scale.
In his Congratulatory remarks, the Proprietor and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Prince Ma'ruf Adesegun Ajibola SAN, said he was happy that the vision of the late founder, His Excellency Prince Bola Ajibola had fully crystallized.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila recounted that Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW) had recorded many achievements for the university since inception. One of those achievements, he pointed out, was the academic and moral excellence of the alumni including some coming out with a first class grade.
The team coach, Dr Imran praised the university management for financial, moral and intellectual support to the team, stressing that the Registrar, Prince Zakariyyah Ajibola was always in touch to inspire the team at every stage of the competition.
In appreciation of their excellence, the proprietor had directed that a handsome amount be credited into the bank accounts of each of the team members while a friend of the university was also reported as crediting their accounts with cash prizes.
