Christ College of Theology and Deliverance Inaugurates Alumni Network on Founder’s Birthday.

Abeokuta -The Christ College of Theology, Deliverance and Miracles Ministry, Oke Lantoro, Abeokuta  has officially inaugurated its Alumni Network, with a call on past and present students to remain a united family for Kingdom advancement.

The historic inauguration, which took place on Thursday 1st October, 2026  coincided with the birthday of the Founder and father in the Lord, Pastor Rufus Adebayo.

In a welcome address, the Initiator  and Coordinator of the Network, who is a Chief Chaplain, Dr.  Sarah Aladeselu JP, said the vision was born out of a burden to bring all of Papa’s children together as one family.

She said, "This vision started with a burden in my heart. I began to think about the countless sons and daughters who have passed through this great College. I began to think about the many ministers of God who have been raised here, and whose lives and ministries are now making an impact in different places."

"And I began to ask myself: How can we bring all Papa's children together as one family? How can we appreciate the spiritual investment, sacrifice, prayers, teachings, and fatherly love that our beloved Papa has poured into our lives?" she added.

Dr. Aladeselu said she sought the leading of the Holy Spirit and the vision to bring the alumni together became stronger.

While acknowledging that attempts had been made in the past to establish an Alumni Association, she honoured all those who carried the vision before, noting that their efforts are not forgotten.

"What we are doing today is not to erase what has been done before. Rather, we are coming together to renew the vision, strengthen it, and build something that can stand and continue for generations to come," she said.

Speaking on the essence of the Network, Dr. Aladeselu stressed that it belongs to all - past, present and future students of the College - and is more than an association.

"It is not simply an association. It is a family. A family where we can fellowship together. A family where we can pray for one another. A family where we can support one another. A family where we can lend a helping hand when one of us is in need. We want to be our brothers' and sisters' keepers," she stated.

She added that the Network also aims to support the College, contribute knowledge and experience, promote its good name, and use what God has deposited in members for the advancement of the Kingdom.

Dr. Aladeselu described the timing of the inauguration on October 1st as significant, being the birthday of Pastor Adebayo.

"What a beautiful way to celebrate our Papa! We are bringing his children together. We are coming together in love. We are coming together in unity. And we are saying: Papa, we appreciate you. Papa, we honour you. Papa, we thank God for your life," she said.

She appreciated God for the spiritual investment, lives touched, ministers raised, and the wisdom and spiritual heritage the Founder has deposited in his children, praying that God will continue to strengthen, preserve and increase His grace upon him.

On the commitment expected of members, she charged the alumni to make the Network a living family.

"Let this not just be an association with a name and a leadership structure. Let it be a living family. A family that remembers. A family that loves. A family that supports. A family that prays. A family that gives. A family that stands together. And a family that carries the good name and spiritual heritage of Christ College into the future," she said.

She expressed optimism that the Network will become a strong instrument for the advancement of God's Kingdom, the strengthening of the College, the honour of the Founder and the welfare of every member.

In her conclusion, she welcomed all guests including the Founder, the Guest Speaker, Bishop Dr. Richard Ige, lecturers, ministers, alumni and students.

"Welcome to the Christ College of Theology, Deliverance and Miracles Alumni Network. Welcome home, Papa's children!" she declared.

She ended with the theme of the Network: *One College. One Family. One Vision. One Kingdom.*

The inauguration featured prayers for the Founder and goodwill messages from alumni and friends of the College.
