The Secretary of Ogun State All Progressive Congress , Honorable Ayo Olubori distributed relief items at his country home, today in Ilaro to limit the economic effects the 14 day lockdown will have on the citizens of the local government.
The distribution of stimulus package was initiated to compliment the efforts of Ogun State Governor, HE Prince Dapo Abiodin palliative measures in the State.
Hon. Ayo Olubori, who is a former commissioner for Forestry, Agriculture and Environment in Ogun State doles out cash to women, youths aged men and women in the Local Government.
Olubori praised the Governor for his timely intervention to extend the date of the lockdown to Friday. He also pleaded with the people to keep to precautions and follow every guidelines of National Center for Disease Control(NCDC) and Ogun State Ministry of Health.
"We will win this war against the invisible enemy. We all need to be vigilant and help the state government limit the spread of this disease. This disease is not a death sentence. If you notice any symptoms related to Covid19, please call the appropriate authorities" he added.
