Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu renovates Male Medical Ward in Ijebu Ode to Commemorate two years anniversary

Access to comprehensive quality health care services is not only central to human happiness and well being but can also contribute greatly towards an improved economy .

It is therefore imperative for corporate bodies private institutions, groups and well- to -do individuals to support the government in the development of health care delivery system of ogun state in order to make the sector more attractive to people as well as investors.

The ogun state commissioner for health ,Dr Tomi Coker handed these down in her keynote address at the official commissioning of the renovated male medical ward state hospital ijebu ode by Egbe Obayori okunrin Akile ijebu to mark their two years anniversary on Friday. 

The commissioner who was represented by the permanent secretary state hospitals management board,Dr Nofiu Aigoro said the determination of the government to ensure that every resident of the state have access to quality health care cannot be done by government alone ,commending the Egbe obayori okunrin Akile ijebu for the giant strides and for being thoughtful of contributing towards the state development, urging all other groups to emulate them.

On his part,the baba egbe of Egbe Obayori okunrin, Asiwaju Taiwo Adeniji who described the group as best of regberegbe of ijebu land, pointed out that their high level of preparedness to contribute to the state's development with their personal resources spur him to agree to be their baba egbe,noting that the needs and requirements of the state and country are beyond the capacity of government, urging other groups not to only be for merry-making but render humanitarian services .

Earlier in his welcome address ,giwa of egbe obayori okunrin Akile ijebu ,Adebayo Osikomaiya said the emergence of Covid-19 motivated the group to invest in the health sector ,adding that the project which cost about 15 million naira is a complete renovation of the longest building in general hospital ,ijebu ode ,pointing out that a unique cooperative society programme that will transformed into a micro finance bank with loans at lowest rate to community people in Akile ijebu is the project in view.

The Egbe obayori okunrin Akile ijebu which is of men within the age bracket of 1977,1978 and 1979 year of birth was formally recognised as a regberegbe group by the Awujale of ijebuland ,Oba Sikiru Adetona on 14th August 2018 with main objectives of attracting hardworking men and contributing to community development.
