Nigerian Army holds Captain to Major Practical Promotion Examination in Abeokuta


In line with the  Nigerian Army  Forecast of Event 2020, 63 candidates are now undergoing  the  Nigerian Army Captain  to Major practical  promotion  examination in Abeokuta. 

    Addressing  the candidates this Sunday at 35  Brigade  Officers  Mess,Alamala Barracks  Abeokuta, the examination president,  Major General Lucky Irabor expressed determination  to  further expose the candidates  to the values  of dedication to service, integrity  and professional competence. 

    According to him,any act of compromise or contravention  of the rules  and regulations of the examination  will not be tolerated  stressing that  any  candidate  found wanting  will be appropriately dealt with..
 
     Major General Irabor also informed that the performance of the candidates will determine their growth  in the Nigerian Army just as he charged the senior  officers who are team leaders  to discharge  their  duties  expectedly. 

    Speaking in like manner, the Chief Host,Brigadier  Commander, 35 Artillery  Brigade, Alamala,Abeokuta, Brigadier General  Ewemeha Amadasun urged the candidates  to be security  conscious pointing out that they should not take their  personal security for granted. 

   Represented by Major  General Godwin  Umelo,he informed  that kidnap of security personnel is on the  increase just as he charged  the candidates  to display  high level  of confidence and discipline throughout the examination process. 

   The Captain to Major  Practical Promotion  Examination put together  by the headquarters 81 division Nigerian Army will end on Friday.
