Those that sat for the just concluded Captain- to- Major practical promotion examination 2020 put together by the 81 division Nigerian Army have been advised to improve on their areas of weaknesses with a view to meeting the required performances.
The examination President, Major General Lucky Iraboh gave the advice at the closing ceremony of the 6 day practical exercise held at 35 Brigade Officer's mess,Alama Barrack Abeokuta this Friday.
Informing that the examination was meant to re-awaken the candidates in the discharge of their duties ,he lauded the examination panel for leaving up to expectation in the discharge of their duties.
For those that did not excel in some subjects, Major General Iraboh informed of another opportunity urging them to buckle up in the next attempt.
Also speaking, the chief host,Major General Godwin Umelo posited that training and re-traning is a continuous process pointing out that soldiers are often trained to update their knowledge.
As commanders expected to be on the front row in the discharge of their duties, Major General Umelo saw the need for them to be responsible Officers.
62 candidates took part in the Captain to Major practical examination with Mukahi Aliyu,Babalola Elegbe and Chukwuma Nwobi becoming the top three after the exercise.
