NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE PROPER DEMANDS IN NIGERIA BY DR GBENGA ADEOYE.

I have said on different media stations severally that the current leadership of the National Assembly and in deed the Executive will not want to commit Class Suicide. They are enjoying the  current Unitary System of Government we call Presidential System.

They have invested in the wrong system and they are currently working on how to even reduce their pay back period in years.

The correct thing we all must demand for now is JUSTICE and EQUITY.

Let the Federal Government and Civil Societies  including the umemployed youths collate names of people working in the following  Agencies of FGN ( Just a few as they are more than this). Check those in   Management Capacity, Their State, Local Government, Qualifications,  Date of Employment, Years of Experience.Let us compare with Section 14 of the Constitution.

1. CBN
2.NSPMC
3.DPR
4.NDIC
5.NNPC
6.Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
7.Bank of Industry.
8 Bank of Agric.
9.Cutoms.
10.Immigration
11.Nigerian Intelligence Agency.
12.EFCC
13.ICPC.
14.NPA.
15. Airspace Management Authority.
16.FIRS.
17.NTA
18.FRCN
19. NCC
20.NBC.
21.Federal High Court.
22.Court of Appeal.
23.Supreme Court.
24.Industrial Court.
25.Nigerian Law School.
26. FAAN
27.INEC

30 NYSC
31.Fed Min of Works .
32.FRSC.
33.NSCDC
34.Fed Min of Finance
35. All Federal Ministries, Agencies and Departments.

I visited Anambra State in December 2019, you will be shocked at the number of Check Points on the road.I lost count at a time. From Lagos to Alor, It is actually about 100 Check Points. Commerce cannot thrive that way.

2 years ago, a woman selling rice in Abeokuta  had her shop broken into by force by Men of Nigerian Customs and they carted away her rice. You can guess if the rice were thrown away or sold to the Custom officers...It was around Christmas.

A woman almost ran mad after her shop was broken into around Itoku in Abeokuta 3 years ago too.

What is custom doing inside the town.? Making lives difficult for the people.?

Try and import anything to Nigeria; you will be treated like someone seeking favour.

These guys did not know we are their employers.

Impunity at all levels. When you pay Custom duties and and go through stress to get your goods out, the custom officers on the road will stop you almost in every city. Not working as patriotic people but majorly exploiting the people.

These and similar rubbish must end now .

Try and go to Atan Agbara Road..By design that road was meant to lead to Sokoto.

Not all cars can go and return safely as  that road can no longer be referred to as a road. From Epe to Lekki, after the bridge at the exit of Epe....The road is shameful.
If it rains any day, you just need to add 5 hours to your trip of 25 minutes.

SOLUTION

1.End Unitary System of Government.

2. End Inequality .Reduce Cost of Governance. Change Parliament to one .Pay Allowance not as high as the salary of a Federal P.S

3.Restructure Nigeria.

4.Each State should create their own Police.

5.Leave VAT for State fo Collect and use while they contribute 10% to FGN.

6.Let there be Tax Derivation.

7.Let all Governors account for Security Votes monthly.

8.Review the Justification for 20 Local Governments in Lagos and Ogun State and 44 in Kano even after creating Jigawa from the same Kano....Injustice...

9.List the number of people in government from age 50 and below and 51 to 80.Are we fools.? No.

10.Check the State of our Universities and other Higher Institutions.Primary & Secondary Schools Facilities are not good enough for animals in some states.

Time to make demand is now.

Welcome to a new Nigeria.

## End Bad Governance
## End Inequality .
##Restructure Nigeria Now
## End Mediocrity Now.
## End Unemployment.

An end must come to those days of " We are  working on it.Government is on top of it."
The time of deception has gone .

Dr.Gbenga Adeoye  holds a PhD in Management Accounting, a Bachelor's Degree in Law. He  holds a Diploma in Criminology and Security Studies. He is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria &  An Arbitrator of UK and Nigeria.

He is Passionate about Tax Justice, Good Governance and Socio Economic Development of Africa in general and Nigeria in particular.

The end of impunity and bad Governance is now.

There is no better time to make demands than now.
No more silence . Looters are few.The people affected are many.Deceivers are few.The people affected are numerous.Jobless youths are many and wealthy people without work are few.

No Violence but the Voice of Justice MUST CRY LOUD everywhere.
