IITA partners Ogun State on Farmers Registration for Baseline Study



As part of measures to improved on Agricultural production in Ogun State, a team from the Internatinal Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) has met with the Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina, in Abeokuta.


The  IITA team lead by  Head of the Germplasm Health Unit  and Co-Lead of IITA's Digital Delivery Working Group, Virologist Lava Kumar,
was in the state for  an inception meeting with the Honorable Commissioner of Agriculture, Dr Adeola Odedina and his  team to discuss a new project on farmer registration and baseline study.



The New project is part of World Bank, Ogun Stae Transformation Project (OGSTEP ) faccilitated by the Governor of Ogun State 
Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun.

The OGSTEP team is being led and Coordinated by Homourabke Commissioner For Finance and Chief Economic Adviser to the Ogun State Governor, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo.



Other members of the IITA delegation include: Head of Communication Katherine Lopez, Project Development and Administration Unit Head, Kayode Awobajo, Institutional Data Manager Bosun Obileye,  GIS Team Lead, Akinlabi Tunrayo, Web Team lead,Tunde Ajayi, and IT and web developer, Busayo Ogunya.
