The Ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has called for synergy between the executive and legislative arms of government for the socio economic growth and development of the state.
Governor Abiodun made the call on tuesday while playing host to the newly inaugurated member's of the 10th legislative assembly led by the Speaker, the right Honourable Oakunle Oluomo at the Exco Chamber, Oke Mosan Abeokuta, ,
The Governor reminded them that now that election has come and gone they should all see themselves as one big family and work together to ensure the success of the agenda of building the future of the state together and ISEYA mantra that the current administration has laid down for the benefit of its citizentry
Describing the legislature as an important arm of government, the governor urged them to consolidate on the achievements recorded by the 9th assemnly
The governor while congratulating them for having a peaceful and seamless inauguration, explained that the members have sustained the momentum of peace that the state is known for
He promised that his government would.operate an open door policy regardless of political affiliation, religious and tribe by giving them the required support that would enhance their performances in discharging their legislative duties
Earlier, the newly elected speaker, the right Honourable Olakunle Oluomo said the reason behind the visit was to thank the governor for the role played towards the successful inauguration
The speaker assured that the lawmakers would join hands with the government to give the state a new lease of.life
