In his royal remarks, His Majesty commended the planning committee, led by Engineer Yemi Ogundele, for their colorful presentation and efforts to project and preserve Nigerian culture. He urged parents in the diaspora to ensure their children are well-versed in their cultural identity and to maintain a strong connection with their fatherland. "The festival serves as a platform for promoting culture and traditions globally, fostering relationships between different cultures, and promoting understanding and appreciation for diverse traditions," he stated.

His Excellency, Ambassador Dogondaji Haliru Bello, Head of Mission at the Nigerian Embassy in Vienna, reiterated His Majesty's sentiments on building strong ties with their roots and passing this patriotism on to their children.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Nigerian Embassy in Vienna, Ethiopian Airlines, and the Weltmuseum Wien (World Museum Vienna), included an exhibition of made-in-Nigeria products and an Adire fabric market from June 27 to 29, 2024. According to Culture and Tourism Expert, Prince Adewale Adeyanju, the Adire Carnival is one of the major Yoruba events in Europe and has attracted a global audience.
