In a grand display of love and unity, Pastor David Lawrence Achudume, son of the Lead Pastor and the General Overseer of the Victory Life Bible Church International ,Apostle Lawrence Achudume, exchanged vows with Precious Chigozie Chukwu on Saturday, the 19th of April,2025 in Abeokuta.
The ceremony held at the Headquarters of the church drew prominent Nigerians, including the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun,represented by his Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya,Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno and his predecessor, Governor Udom Emmanuel, and wives of former President Obasanjo, Mrs Bola Obasanjo and former Governor of Ogun State, Mrs Olufunso Amosun.
The Overseer.of the Citadel Global Community Church, Reverend Tunde Bakare, in a sermon with the title " A blueprint for a successful and enduring marriage", while informing the couple that marraige is a misery and a significant institution ordained by God also admonished the groom that he has to groom his wife to become the wife he wants her to be and must also dwell with her according to revelations and knowledge of God so that his prayers would not be hindered.
Reverend Bakare who said majority of marriages in the church and the society are shattered because they do not give return on investments to God, said God expects every marriage to glorify his name because it is an institution ordained by him, advising the bride not to ever argue with his wife, because he would never win.

Officiating ministers included, the , Bishop of the Egba Diocese of the Anglican Communion and the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria,Ogun State Chapter, Bishop Emmanuel Adekunle, the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, Chairman CAN,Akwa Ibom State, Bishop Chris Nyong and Reverend Adeoye Adeyanju.
Traditional rulers in attedance included the Osile of Oke- Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, representatives of the Olowu of Owu among others
