The Group Managing Director of First Holdings Company PLC, Mr Wale Oyedeji has charged men to imbibe integrity in order to attain greater heights in life.
Mr Oyedeji who gave the charge while delivering a lecture entitled, "Integrity In Market Places: Be A Joseph", on Thursday during the opening ceremony of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Western Nigeria Union Conference Adventist Men's Organization (AMO) 2025 Convention at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, emphasized that people should demonstrate integrity both in times of adversity and when in positions of authority.
According to The First Holdings Group Managing Director, integrity matters because it earns one trust and credibility, secures sustainable success and promotion, builds and protects reputation and legacy as well as attracts Divine Favour and elevation.
While pointing out that Joseph succeeded because he put God first, remained humble, forgiving and accountable even when he became the second most powerful person in Egypt, Mr Oyedeji advised men to prioritize God in order to live a life of integrity.

He observed that there are challenges to integrity in the present day Nigeria including the pressure to perform and meet up with people's expectations, the fear of missing out, industry norm, among others, but noted that they are not different from what Joseph experienced and overcame.
Mr Oyedeji emphasized that the world is waiting for market place leaders who are trustworthy, principled and god-fearing, urging men at the convention to be the present day Joseph in order to contribute towards building a strong economy for the country.
On his part, another financial expert and Group Managing Director of Meristem Securities Limited, Mr Sulaiman Adedokun, represented by DR Femi Oladele, harped on the need for men to create multiple streams of Income and make plans for a financially secured future to avoid being at the mercy of others when they retire from active service.
In their separate lectures, the Chief Executive Officer of Mitelo Farms Limited, Dr Adefunmilola Williams-Daudu and the Managing Director/CEO of Agbeyewa Farms, Mr Olaoluwaseyi Aiyeleso, called on the participants at the convention to embrace agribusiness for sustainable economic development.
According to them, agriculture has become a major source of wealth creation and employment generation as well as foreign exchange earner for the country through the export of farm produce and value additions.
Earlier in a welcome address, the Director, Adventist Men's Organization, Western Nigeria Union Conference, Elder Olusola Olayinka said the convention was aimed at empowering men of the church spiritually and economically to harness their God-given gifts and talents and use them to add value to their lives as well as impact the lives of others around them.
