The Orunto of Owu Kingdom, Chief Abiodun Lasile has been elected as the Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Ogun State Chapter.
The reading and literacy advocate, who is also the founder of Sixth Sense Initoatived emerged as the association’s head during its November monthly meeting held on Saturday at the Simeon Adebo Library, Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.
Also, former Chief Press Secretary, PR Expert and Broadcaster, Dare Folarin was also elected as Vice Chairman of the writers’ association.
Other elected officers include Matthew Simpa as General Secretary, Gbenga Ogunsola as Treasurer, Samuel Ogunyinka as Public Relations Officer, and Akinyemi Makinde as Assistant Secretary.
The newly elected executives are expected to be formally inaugurated during the ANA’s December monthly meeting, scheduled to hold at the Olowu Palace, Abeokuta.
