The President of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International, Kuto Eminent Persons Chapter Abeokuta - Professor Adewale Dipeolu - has enjoined members, both the old and the new to always strive to participate fully in the activities of the group which are geared toward propagating the gospel of Christ and winning souls: particularly those of successful professionals and accomplished business men and women; for Christ in a convivial atmosphere.
Professor Dipeolu made the call on Saturday while addressing members at the November Breakfast meeting of the group held at Mitros Residences Hall, Osoba Road, Ibara GRA, Abeokuta.
Professor Dipeolu who welcomed everyone to the meeting encouraged the guests who were attending the meeting for the first time to endeavour to consider joining the group, which has lots of benefits like: gaining access to the network of the world's largest, non-denomonational Christian fellowship of successful business men and women, captains of industries, high profile government officials, Royals and even Presidents of Nations.
Speaking further, Professor Dipeolu encouraged everyone to get involved in the activities of the group by owning and digesting the various books of the fellowship that detail the founding, operation and growth of the international fellowship over the last 73 years, starting from the United States of America and now in over 100 countries and Nigeria having over 2,800 chapters like this Kuto Eminent Persons chapter here in Abeokuta.
In an atmosphere that was inclusive, Professor Dipeolu extended an open door to all who are interested in being part of the group's journey.
Speaking on his transformative journey from a rebellious life to a glorious life in Christ, on the topic : " From the Depth of the Sea to the Height of Revival: A Testimony of God's Transforming Power, the speaker for the month of November, Captain Sunday Ajiboye, a retired Navy Captain from the Nigerian Navy shared his powerful testimony of God's transforming power.
As he said, despite that he was given birth to in a polygamous family, he faced numerous challenges growing up, but it was his encounter with Jesus that transformed his life.
According to him despite being born into Christianity, he led a rebellious and wild life, but a turning point came when he faced problems with his wife, leading him to a life-changing encounter and surrendering of his life to Jesus.
Captain Sunday said as he surrendered to Christ, he experienced a radical transformation and he later discovered that no matter how terrible his sins were, God's love was much more available to save.
As he said, he learned that unforgiveness could be an obstacle to progress and that letting go of past hurts was a powerful step towards a new and glorious life in Christ Jesus
.
Captain Sunday emphasized that "the life in Christ is the best life", while encouraging others to prioritize Jesus and love, just as golfers prioritize their game.
He used the opportunity to invite members to join the golf team, as it holds numerous promises for their well being and health.
Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International Nigeria is a vast global movement of laymen with the vision to call men back to God, help even believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to grow spiritually and thereby be ambassadors for Jesus in their various market places.
