Ogun Deputy Governor charges young ones on good deeds as OGBC Father fun winds down.




In line with saying that  'the journey of a thousand miles ends in a day', the month-long Father Xmas Funfair of the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, declared opened by the first lady of Gateway State, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun is winding down this Tuesday. 
   The funfair supported by the Ogun State Generation 11, Ogun state Property and Investment Corporation, OPIC, Victory Life Bible Church, Dimmo Stores, Penpushing,Olu Kobape,Oba Alani Taylor, Dr Jackie Adunni-Kassim,J.O.Popson, Yomfield, JAROY,Schools in Ogun state and Ibarapa in Oyo state, had series of endorsement from different calibre of  people across the state, including the state Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele,a Former Head Of Service, Chief Dipo Odulate (OFR) and a former Permanent Secretary of the Ogun State Ministry of Information Mrs Yetunde Kujore among others.




Addressing the young ones ( who were given various gifts by OGBC Santa Claus)at the Stella Obasanjo Children's Home in Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta,the Deputy Governor urged the future leaders to be of good behaviour and heed the counsel of their guardians . 

The Deputy Governor also charged those undergoing apprenticeship among them to take advantage of the opportunity, so as to become self dependent. 

On her part, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr Oluranti Oladeinde 
Lauded OGBC for giving the little ones a sense of belonging this yultide.

In an interview with newsmen,the chairperson of the OGBC Father Xmas Funfair, Doyin Lasisi-Oloruntola highlighted series of philanthropic gesture carried out by OGBC during the month-long event. 
  According to her, apart from the children of Stella Obasanjo home, those of of Daniel Akintonde School of Children with special needs and Gideon Orphanage , Abeokuta also benefitted from OGBC'S Social services to humanity just as  a well attended Xmas party was  organised for children of the staff of the Nation's Model Station, 90.5fm

Lauding the partners, churches and schools for finding OGBC worthy of a mutual relationship,the Father Xmas Committee's Chairperson appreciated the management of the station Led by Mr Diji Akinhanmi for creating an enabling environment for the committee to serve.

She noted that the Nation's Model Station is on its toes to serve the listening public better adding that the OGBC Children's Arena with modern facilities courtesy OGSG11 is still opened for fun-filled  activities after yultide.#
