We have so many unpleasant news flying around in the last one week that makes me see August 2020 as a month with too many evil visitors.
Among the bad news are:
1. Council of UNILAG removed V.C without following the laid down procedure for such.
2. NBC penalised a radio station simply because a man from a particular area in Kaduna stated what he heard from Terrorist that repented.
3. The killing of innocent people in southern Kaduna.
Now to the new story I heard in the news ..
A man in Enugu got a court order to demolish Enugu Airport Fence up to 2 kilometres.....Haaaaa.... Two Kilometres...Even 6 feets is a security risk.
I asked many question.
1. Can that be true.?
2.Which court gave that order?
3.Who.is the Judge that gave such order?
4.I learnt he went with Police to pull down the fence. Who authorised the deployment of such officers.?
5.Do they know the security implication.?
I think we have lost our minds here.
How can someone destroy National Asset and Security Facility like a terrorist.?
If not that I saw the Minister of Aviation at the Scene to inspect the demolished fence; I will never believe it happened.
I would have taken it as a Movie.
Something is wrong in this Country. This need to be corrected and National Orientation Agency need to roll out TV, Radio, billboards and all forms of advert to educate the citizen on National security .
Am still in shock over this but it points to one thing;
WE ARE NOT UNITED IN SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY AND GOVERNMENT NEED TO ACT FAST BEFORE THE FULL COLLAPSE OF NATIONAL UNITY.
