Odedina shares Ogun Agric Success Stories at Climate Smart Agribusiness Conference For Africa by GIZ/AUDA-NEPAD



For two days running, the Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina joined other agricultural experts from all over the world to attend an international conference tagged " Prosperity from climate-smart agribusiness with and for Africa" organised by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Group and AUDA-NEPAD.

On the first day , Dr. Odedina had the privilege to participate in the panel discussions at the International Conference alongside, Programme Officer, Gender Climate Change, Environmental Sustainability Programme, Ms Edna Kalima, and the  President PAFO), Mr Kolyyang Palébélé, on "Climate-smart agribusiness with and for Africa: status and opportunities".



On the second day , he also participated along side the  Director Programme Coordination and Delivery, AUDA-NEPAD, Mr Amine Idris Adoum 
on "Effective policies for climate-smart agribusiness MSME and their organization". 

Dr Odedina together with the Director, Programme Coordination and Delivery Afrca Union Develooment Agency AUSA NEPAD also held another session, on  "Effective Policies For Climate Smart Agribusiness MSME, and their organisation".


While the conference lasted, he had the  opportunity of sharing ideas on Case studies and success stories of Ogun State Agriculture as facilitated by His . Excellency, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun (MFR), especially the policy to support climate-smart agriculture, reduction of greenhouse gases, and adaptive skills in coping with and mitigating the effect of climate change with focus on agriculture to provide jobs, support small holder farmers and agriculture industrialization.
