Despite the gloomy atmosphere pervading the socio- economic and political environment in Nigeria, the people of God should not be weary as the Lord God has promised to renew their strength.
The man of God in charge of African Church, Good news Chapel, Reverend Canon Paul Ogunlade who made this submission at the cross over service to usher in the new year, said those who wait on the Lord shall not be put to shame.
According to the man of God, no matter how hard the situation is, people of a God should be full of praises and adoration to God and remains steadfast in their believe in him as he has promised to make them rise above all the frustration, no matter what.
Reverend Canon Ogunlade further observed that there will be many obstacles to cross in the new year, but said the Lord God had said those who wait on the Lord shall climb the mountain like a feary Eagle and surmount it with ease.
He stated further that the Lord God had also promised that the people of God shall run the race of the new year and will never be weary.
Speaking further, Reverend Canon Ogunlade said as part of the prophecy for the new year, the people of God shal walk and not get tired, calling on the people to decree into their lives that there will be no sorrow warning the people that whatever the tribulations in the new year, people.of God should not complain while also enjoining them to raise an alter for God In the new year and never to be too busy to forget prayers in the new year....
