Methodist High School Arigbajo Old Students' Association Extols Emergence of member as UAC CEO.



Members of the Old Stidents' Association of Methodist High School, Arigbajo  in Ifo Local Government,  Ogun State have extolled the virtue of one of their own, Mr. Oluyemi Olumide who was recently appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive  Officer of UAC Foods.

UAC Foods is  a dominat player in the food industry in Nigeria.

Its areas of operation include manufacturing, services, logistics and warehousing, agricultural and real estate. 

In hundreds of congratulatory messages on the Schools Old Students' platform on  Friday members while wishing him good success  over his elevation, qpray for God's enablememt to take UAC  behind its current standing.

The Chairman, Board of Trustee of the Association, Alhaji fatai Famuyiwa while congratulating him pray to God to grant him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the company to an enviable height.

The Vice President  of the Association, Mr. Olugbenga Popoola also lend his voice.

 He said "May your time at UAC foods be filled with grace and may you receive grace for  innovative, directional and exceptional leadership"". 

Another old student,Toba Alli has this to say :
"I am so happy for you my brother. This is just the beginning of good things coming your way . You've always been a leader and I am so happy today.  On my way to work I openly announced to colleagues that the new MD / CEO of UAC foods is my brother. I am  so Happy about your elevation my brother".

Also speaking, one of Oloyede's teachers, who himself is an alumnus of the school,  Mr. Mobolaji Fajounbo says of the new UAC top man.

" Another testinonial of his consistency. As  Senior Prefect, he led in the true sense of itn; And, in life, Yemi blazed many trails; this is not only deserving- It is huge, especially after those laders".

Responding, Mr. Oloyede  while thanking fellow Alumni members  for the show of love said: " I am super grateful for the well wishes and I’m glad to be here. I’m very grateful to our leaders for keeping this group and the vision alive.

" I will actively participate, as much as time and space allows, in the group’s activities".

Oluyemi Oloyede is a resounding people and business expert with over 16 years of supporting and leading multi-national teams with excellent results.

 He has attributed tremendous results in companies such as Procter & Gamble, Kellogg, and most recently Kerry Group as General Manager, West Africa where he led a team of commercial, finance, research, development and applications, supply chain, and operations colleagues to support Kerry’s customers in West Africa. 


Oluyemi, a leader and a follower values growth mindset, grit, diligence, and integrity.

Oluyemi graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria with a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Great Ife! 

He started his career at Procter & Gamble West Africa as Key Accounts Manager, where he covered territories across Nigeria including Ibadan, Abuja, Kaduna, Zaria, Jos, Port Harcourt, and Lagos.

 He later became the National Sales Operations Manager covering all of Procter & Gamble’s sub-distributors in Nigeria and then as Regional Sales Manager responsible for Lagos, Ogun, Edo, and Delta States. 

He also worked at L’Oréal Central West Africa as National Sales Manager for Nigeria and Ghana before moving on to lead Kellogg’s business in West Africa during which the $450M joint venture between Tolaram Group and Kellogg was consummated. After the transition to the joint venture operation, he joined Kerry Group, a B2B Group that develops and manufactures flavours, ingredients, and technology solutions to support food and beverage manufacturers around the world.
