The Former Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Adeola Odedina, has been presented with the award of outstanding leadership of excellence by the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS).
The award, which was received at the June 12 Cultural Centre on Friday, in Abeokuta, was in recognition of his outstanding performance in the state.
The prestigious award was a testament to Dr. Odedina's remarkable contributions and exemplary performance during his tenure as the Commissioner for Agriculture.
The event, attended by dignitaries and students alike, celebrated his dedication to enhance the agricultural sector in the state.
While speaking with newsman, Odedina represented by his media aide Mr Babalola Gafar expressed joy for the award and dedicated it to the youths and the good students of Ogun State.
According to him "the students dedication to education and pursuit of knowledge is truly commendable. Your resilience, hard work, and passion for learning has inspire everyone.
"In the face of challenges, Nigerian Students continue to shine brightly, representing the future leaders of our nation.
"I know that your efforts do not go unnoticed. Nigeria is proud of its talented and driven students. Continue to excel and make a positive impact on the world."
Odedina therefore advised the students not to look for money by all means adding that hardwork pave the way to success.
