In view of the recent departure of former Coach Anthony Encho, the Management of Ijebu United FC has appointed Michael Shoniregun to take charge in an interim capacity.
An experienced shot stopper during his playing days, Michael Shoniregun was formerly Head Coach at Almar FC, Lisabi United and he also had a stint with Vandrezzer FC before teaming up with Ijebu United since 2021/2022 football season.
The management pf the team in a statement announcing his appointment said 'Coach Mike', as he is fondly called, has been an integral part of Ijebu United FC family over the years and has displayed enough ability and loyalty to justify the confidence of Management to lead the team.
Coach Michael is an old student of Egba Comprehensive High School, Asero,Abeokuta.
