Sixth Sense Initiative Collaborates with Crescent University for Development.




The Promoter of the SixthSense Initiative  Mr. Abiodun Lasile has paid an advocacy visit to the Crescent University, Abeokuta with a view to explore areas of collaboration for development.

During the visit on Tuesday 5th March, 2024, Mr. Lasile  was graciously received by Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, the Vice Chancellor.

Mr. Lasile used the opportunity  of the visit to explore areas of collaboration and participation in Crescent University's development.

Mr. Lasile who is the Orunto of Owu Kingdom is one of the nominated awardees to receive the 2024 Bola Ajibola Community Service Award during the 18th Founder's Day of the university slated  for March, 22nd.


The Head of Department  of Mass Communication, Dr. Kola Adesina, in his capacity as the Chairman of  Ceremonials Committee of the University led  him  to the Vice Chancellor's office.




Mr Lasile while speaking about the visit  said:"Today Tuesday 5th March, 2024 marked my esteemed visit to Crescent University, Abeokuta where I was graciously received by Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, the Vice Chancellor. It's truly gratifying to receive acknowledgment from such a reputable institution"

He added that : " I represented The SixthSense Initiative and myself, seeking collaboration and participation in Crescent University's development. Dr. Adesina, Head of Mass Communication, guided me to the Vice Chancellor's office—a gesture of sincere appreciation for their recognition and support"

Mr. Lasile while further enjoining the people on the need to collaborate in the promotion of reading ciulture said "Remember, ignorance comes at a cost far greater than knowledge ".

Professor Gbajabiamila while receiving the reading culture promoter and exponent spoke  on the achievements of the university.

He further informed that the University has students that are  sponsored  by the  northern states whiie saying that the government needs to do more for private tertiary institutions' growth.

Professor Gbajabiamila during the visit professes the recognition of The SixthSense Initiative in the area of reading culture advocacies.
 
The visit witnessed  exchange of gifts as the promoter of The SixthSense Initiative was presented with the University Souvenier and in exchange, he gave his  coffee table publication on Orunto, Owu and Achievements published by Sixth Sense Series Publications
