Egba Comprehensive High School Students Shine at Build- a- Thon Competition After Building An Electric Car.

Students of Egba Comprehensive  High School in a rear display of technical skills have  clinched the Award of Future Innovators Award at a technologically inclined competition tagged Build-a-Thon is held recently.

The students received the award as a reward for a rear feat in building an electric car.

Build-a-Thon is a 3 day program organized by Raspberry in conjuction with the  OGUN State Government to teach the ogun State Secondary Schools (public) students the use of wire, transferable cable and connection board to create technology. 



Under the competition, ten students each were invited  from 55 schools across Ogun State to make the total of 550 students for  the program.

They were taught how to use the gadgets given to each student on the 1st day.

The students were later told by the organizers to build something of their own on the 2nd day and present their project on the 3rd day.


10 awards were given out for the best project in which Egba Comprehensive High School is one of the schools that was given an award of the "FUTURE INNOVATORS" for building an electric car.

The program started on the 23rd of January and ended on the 25th of January 2024.
